Five things your socks are doing to your feet
Foot odor, swamp foot, blisters, holes — none of it is a hygiene problem. It's a materials problem. Here's each one, and exactly what we changed.
Each foot has roughly 125,000 sweat glands — more per square inch than anywhere else on your body. A cotton sock behaves like a sponge you strapped on at 7am: it absorbs everything and gives none of it back.
Merino pulls moisture off the skin and expels it to evaporate instead of storing it. Open mesh zones across the instep keep air moving through the sock all day.
Here's the part most people get wrong: sweat itself is nearly odorless. The smell is bacterial waste. Give bacteria eight warm, damp, dark hours and they'll give you foot funk.
Merino is naturally resistant to bacteria on its own. We didn't stop there: true copper thread and copper-ion yarn help limit the bacteria and fungus behind the smell. Knit in, not sprayed on — so it can't rinse out by wash five.
Most men own two sets of socks: thin ones that soak through, and thick ones that overheat. Neither adapts to the day you're actually having — so the drawer fills up with compromises.

"Fits sizes 6–12" means it fits nobody properly. A sock built for both feet at once slides, gathers under the arch, and rubs a hot spot into your heel by mile two.

Wool has been worn for thousands of years, and copper has been valued since antiquity for its natural resistance to microbes. We put them in the same yarn: 52% merino to manage the moisture, real copper thread and copper-ion nylon to go after what makes the smell. Cotton does neither — which is precisely why it's $6 a pair.

Here's the math.
A $20 cotton three-pack is a $20 cotton three-pack again four months later — thin, stretched out, and smelling like the inside of a gym bag. This is three pairs worn hundreds of times each, replaced free if any of them ever quits.

Wash cold inside out and lay flat and they hold their shape. Low-heat drying shrinks them minimally and they stretch back on. Plan to tumble dry regularly? Size up.
