Foot odor, swamp foot, blisters, holes — none of it is a hygiene problem. It's a materials problem. Here's each one, and exactly what we changed.
Each foot has roughly 125,000 sweat glands — more per square inch than anywhere else on your body. A cotton sock behaves like a sponge you strapped on at 7am: it absorbs everything and gives none of it back.
Merino pulls moisture off the skin and expels it to evaporate instead of storing it. Open mesh zones across the instep keep air moving through the sock all day.
Here's the part most people get wrong: sweat itself is nearly odorless. The smell is bacterial waste. Give bacteria eight warm, damp, dark hours and they'll give you foot funk.

Feet stink because socks retain moisture, and that damp, hot environment is a breeding ground for odor-causing bacteria. Our merino blend naturally resists odor, wicks moisture away and breathes. On top of that we knit in real copper thread and copper-ion yarn for added odor defense. Less funk — and customers routinely wear a pair three days straight to prove it.
What does the freshness guarantee actually cover?
Two things. Inside 90 days, anything you don't love goes back for a replacement, exchange, credit or refund — worn socks included, because you can't test an anti-odor sock without wearing it. After that, the unlimited lifetime warranty replaces any pair that fails, free.
Can I return them if I've already worn them?
Yes. That's the point. Wear them through a hot day, a long flight, a night shift, three days in work boots. If your feet aren't noticeably fresher and drier, start a return through the portal inside 90 days.
Won't wool make my feet hotter and sweatier?
Opposite. Merino regulates rather than just insulating: it pulls moisture off your skin and lets it evaporate instead of holding it like cotton does. This is a lightweight, all-season knit with open mesh zones across the instep — the reason it works in August as well as January.
Isn't wool itchy?
That's your grandfather's wool. Merino comes from a breed with far finer fibers than coarse wool — fine enough to bend against skin instead of poking it. Ours is spun into a velvety blend. If it itches, send it back inside 90 days. As one customer put it: ‘I used to think all wool socks were destined to be itchy, overly thick, or uncomfortably hot. The blend here is nothing short of luxurious against the skin.’
Will they shrink?
They're preshrunk, and you control the rest. Wash cold inside out and lay flat and they hold their shape. Low-heat drying shrinks them minimally and they stretch back on. Plan to tumble dry regularly? Size up.

How often do I actually need to wash them?
Most of our customers wear these several times between washes. Hang them inside out next to your shoes overnight and they're dry and fresh in the morning. Wash cold, lay flat, and skip the hot dryer.
Which size should I get?
MD fits US 7–10, LG fits 9–12, XL fits 11–14. Between sizes is the best case: size down for a shorter sock, up for a longer one — only about a 1–2" total difference from toe to cuff. Our founder wears a size 10 and uses MD for daily casual wear and LG for sports.
