Five things your socks are doing to your feet
Foot odor, swamp foot, blisters, holes — none of it is a hygiene problem. It's a materials problem. Here's each one, and exactly what we changed.
Each foot has roughly 125,000 sweat glands — more per square inch than anywhere else on your body. A cotton sock behaves like a sponge you strapped on at 7am: it absorbs everything and gives none of it back.
Merino pulls moisture off the skin and expels it to evaporate instead of storing it. Open mesh zones across the instep keep air moving through the sock all day.
Here's the part most people get wrong: sweat itself is nearly odorless. The smell is bacterial waste. Give bacteria eight warm, damp, dark hours and they'll give you foot funk.
Merino is naturally resistant to bacteria on its own. We didn't stop there: true copper thread and copper-ion yarn help limit the bacteria and fungus behind the smell. Knit in, not sprayed on — so it can't rinse out by wash five.

Most of our customers wear these several times between washes. Hang them inside out next to your shoes overnight and they're dry and fresh in the morning. Wash cold, lay flat, and skip the hot dryer.
MD fits US 7–10, LG fits 9–12, XL fits 11–14. Between sizes is the best case: size down for a shorter sock, up for a longer one — only about a 1–2" total difference from toe to cuff. Our founder wears a size 10 and uses MD for daily casual wear and LG for sports.
